Loaner fleet & sign-out

See every loaner at a glance - ready, out with a customer, being inspected or in for service - with fuel and mileage.

1. Sign a car out with the customer, phone, RO number, mileage and return date.
2. Print the rental agreement, or send it for an electronic signature.
3. Check the car in when it comes back; its inspection lands on the task board.
4. Reserve cars ahead of time, and see each car's full rental history and notes.

Kiosks

Put an iPad on the counter. Customers go through their own rental paperwork right there - no clipboard, no copier, no retyping.

1. Start the sign-out in TEKTUNE, send it for electronic signature without texting it, and open the signing link on the shop's iPad.
2. Hand it over: the customer checks their details and agrees to sign electronically.
3. They photograph their driver's license and insurance card with the iPad's camera.
4. They read the rental agreement and sign it with a finger - the car is signed out to them automatically.
5. The signed PDF lands in the car's history, just like a signature from their own phone.

Any tablet with a web browser works. Uses Electronic Signatures, included with paid plans.

Time off

Employees request time off from their phone; managers approve it and everyone sees who's out.

1. Pick days (or part of a day) and a reason, and see your remaining balance.
2. Managers approve or decline, and the employee is notified.
3. The calendar shows who's out, paid holidays and shop events.
4. Set yearly allowances and limits, and subscribe to the calendar in Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar.

Message Center + Tekmetric

Keep shop conversations out of personal text messages - with your Tekmetric repair orders built right in.

1. Direct messages and group chats, plus private notes to yourself.
2. Type an RO number and TEKTUNE tags it automatically - it turns into an orange Tekmetric link.
3. Hover or tap the tag for an RO card: customer, status, keytag and the loaner they have.
4. Click it to jump straight to that repair order in Tekmetric.
5. Search any RO number to find every conversation it came up in.
6. Announcements with polls, assignments with points, and notifications on phones and the Windows desktop app.

The Tekmetric tags need your Tekmetric account connected (one link pasted into Tekmetric).

Reports & leaderboard

Weekly numbers for managers, and a friendly competition for everyone else.

1. Inspections and tasks by employee for the week.
2. A weekly points leaderboard, with the winner announced automatically.
3. Managers get an end-of-day recap of what happened.
4. Export any history to a spreadsheet.

Wall display & phones

Put TEKTUNE on a TV in the shop, and install it on phones like an app.

Your team, your rules

Turn on only what your shop uses, and decide who sees what.

1. Five roles: Technician, Advisor, Manager, Administrator Manager and Dashboard.
2. Every part of TEKTUNE is a module - you're free to turn it on or off whenever you like, for the whole shop or just one role.
3. Add an employee with just a name, role and email. They get an invite, choose a password and a 4-digit PIN, and add a profile photo.
4. PINs switch people in and out on shared shop computers.
